Quitman High
School News
With state test scores
that are well above the state average and improving ACT scores, Quitman High
School has been awarded a 21st Century Community Learning Center
Grant of half a million dollars. The funding will allow the students, faculty
and staff to continue their pursuit of excellence.
The 21st
CCLC project is intended to provide students with extended day learning
experiences, weekend activities, and extended year programming.
Three areas of focus will provide students with assistance needed for academic
success: credit recovery, ninth grade transition, and intensive SATP
intervention.
