Clarke County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) offers adult education classes to individuals wishing to begin a new career or just wanting to learn a new skill.  Classes include Certified Nursing Assistant, Welding, and Basic Auto-Mechanics.

The Certified Nursing Assistant class provides our community with individuals who are ready to join the workforce.  The program requires both classroom hours and clinical hours which are performed at area nursing facilities.  Once the students have graduated, they will take the Certified Nursing Assistant state board and upon passing, will become a licensed CNA.

Also, CCCTC has partnered with Jones County Junior College to offer adult welding classes.  With welding skills, individuals can qualify for job opportunities around the world.

Are you concerned about the upkeep of your automobile?  Do you have children ready to leave home that could benefit from knowing how to perform basic maintenance procedures on their car or truck?  An automobile can be a valuable investment which needs to be taken care of properly.  We offer a class to teach anyone how to extend the life of one of these valuable pieces of equipment.

There is definitely a need for adult education classes in our community, and we are proud to be able to accommodate that need at the Career & Technology Center.  For more information, give us a call at 601-776-5219, or stop by and see what we have to offer to the people of our community.  We look forward to hearing from you.
