QLE students participated in the Annual Kids for Cans food drive. QLE collected 1,800 cans for local charities!
The classes who collected the most cans are featured below.
TRAIL OF CHAMPIONS
The second 1/2 mile is now complete! You can enter the trail from the current location or by the parking lot at the baseball field. If you walk the entire blue surface then you have completed one mile! We invite everyone to enjoy the view of the lake as you exercise.

The PTO provided Chuckles the Clown for all the students who met his/her behavior goal for the month of August. Following the program with Chuckles, the students were treated to snowballs.

QLE has updated the front entrance with new landscaping and a new sidewalk which helps with drop off and pick up time each day.
Technology Updates
QLE is proud to announce the installation of new technology. All classrooms have Promethean Boards, document cameras, 2 iMac computers, a laptop, and a new desktop computer. All 1st and 2nd grade classrooms have Neo stations that can be used for Accelerated Reader and Math Facts in a Flash testing. Much of this new equipment has been purchased through grants.
