WELCOME

Welcome to Quitman Lower Elementary.  Our vision is to be a school and community family committed to becoming confident, lifelong learners.  We will make a vision become reality as we work together and provide a rigorous, relevant, exciting, learning environment each day.  We obtain baseline data and push each student to obtain skill mastery of the Mississippi Frameworks. 

We are utilizing a highly qualified staff and constantly improving faculty to meet the physical, emotional, social, as well as academic needs of each child.

Our efforts to prepare students for their future years in education are supported through Headsprout, Progress Monitoring, Skills Tutor, Macmillan Reading and Language, and other powerful educational tools.  Our school utilizes a high level of integration of technology in the classroom.  Our school also utilizes the Whole Schools concept to reinforce skills taught in the classroom with art, music, and movement.  QLE utilizes Project Fit equipment and the Trail of Champions, a one and a half mile walking track to help students learn fitness for life.
