Eric Turbyfill, CTE Director

Mr. Turbyfill is a graduate of Mississippi State University where he received a Bachelor of Science College of Forest Resources, Master of Science College of Education, and Educational Specialist College of Education.

When asked why he chose to work at Quitman School District, Mr. Turbyfill said, "Years ago, I resided in Quitman while working in the timber industry. Later, while teaching agriculture in a different district, I obtained my administrator credentials. The CTE Director position at the Clarke County Career & Technology Center opened up. Without hesitation, I took the opportunity to advance my career and return to Clarke County. I can sincerely say I love my job."

Mr. Turbyfill's most rewarding part about working for QSD is the students. He has had the honor of meeting and engaging with outstanding students and their families, which has been both rewarding and inspiring.
