Collaborating on Projects at QJH

A student does bellringer work before art class at QJH.

QJH Cyber Foundations teacher Erica Means says,

“I love watching students discover new things and get excited to help teach other students!”

QJH Art teacher Mrs. Denham invites us into her room and writes a note afterwards.

My classes are learning about different careers in art this 9-weeks. This week we have been looking at children’s books and talking about writing and illustrating as careers. They are working in collaborative groups to make their own children’s book that illustrates one of the 7 habits of highly effective teens. Each person in the group is contributing according to their own strengths and the synergy they have shown on this project has been amazing! The imagination and collaboration they have shown on this project has been awesome!

QJH students enjoy collaborating.
