**MESSAGE FROM QSD Child Nutrition Director Wendy Tucker**
Summer meals at the High school cafeteria will be paused until the start of summer school; future dates to be posted.
There is an emergency SNAP benefit card coming to all parents of students that qualified for Free/Reduced meals. You do not have to complete any forms, though you are responsible for providing a correct mailing address if it isn’t correct in the school’s database. If the address is not correct, it will be up to you to contact MDHS at 800-948-3050.
It is very important to always keep schools informed of address changes.
**MESSAGE FROM EMA DIRECTOR EDDIE IVY**
Clarke County Health Department will be holding Back to School Immunization Clinics on June 18th, July 21st, and July 28th. All clinics will be held from 8am-4pm at the Clarke County Health Department located at 426 West Donald Street in Quitman. You will need to call the Clarke County Health Department at 601-776-2149 to schedule an appointment for these clinics. Everyone two years of age and older will need to wear a mask. If you have any questions regarding whether your child is due for immunizations, please contact the Clarke County Health Department at 601-776-2149.
**MESSAGE FROM COACH GANDY**
Quitman Panther Football workouts will begin Tuesday, June. 16th. Players will report directly to the practice field for a 7:30 a.m. check in and temperature check. Workouts will begin at 8:00 a.m. Players will be ready for pickup at 9:30 a.m. All players should be dressed. in their workout gear upon arrival. Players should bring a bottle of water or Powerade to drink.
**MESSAGE FROM COACH BOONE**
Panther Baseball will have a meeting and practice on Tuesday, June 16th from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. All baseball players who played in grades 7 – 12 last year are expected to attend. There will be no access to the locker room. Come dressed to practice and bring your own water/Gatorade. I will give out the summer schedule and go over summer guidelines.
