Registration for the 2020 – 2021 school year ends on Friday, July 31st, and our parents understand how important their child’s education is. So, they are not waiting till the last minute. This week they are choosing the option which best suits their child’s needs.
Parents can enroll their child in a Traditional Plan at Quitman School District described HERE. They do that by either logging into their ActiveParent account HERE or by contacting their child’s school to make an appointment for registration.
Parents can choose to enroll their child in a Distance Learning Plan. They will enroll their child through the ActiveParent account HERE and complete a Request for Virtual Learning Form or contact their child’s school to receive help in completing the form.
Parents can choose to homeschool their child. They will need to contact Clarke County Attendance Officer Santana Mayers at the Quitman School District central office by calling (601) 776-2186. Once they meet with Officer Mayers to withdraw their child from Quitman School District and let her know which homeschool curriculum they will be utilizing to educate their child, they will begin.
