Quitman High School
Dear Quitman High School Parents:
We at Quitman High School have as our number one goal to provide a safe and orderly environment in our school during this pandemic. Our plan to start school traditionally on September 8 has been amended in the following ways:
Starting September 8, 2020, students in grades 9-12 will be allowed to receive face-to-face instruction by an A/B schedule approach.
Students with the last name starting with A-L will receive face-to-face instruction on Monday and Tuesday. Additionally, these students will be fully virtual on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Students with the last name starting with M-Z will receive face-to-face instruction on Thursday and Friday, which prompts their fully virtual days to be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday weekly.
Due to the Executive Order of the Governor, all students and staff within Quitman High School and on buses will be required to wear masks. Moreover, there are hand sanitizer stations throughout the school. We appreciate the support of our parents and the community and we look forward to working with you to make this year a positive experience. Together we can get through this unimaginable time.
