Athletics

Quitman School District has a reputation of successful athletic teams.  We typically have several teams who make playoffs.  We strive to hire coaches who will not only produce great athletes but mold the athletes into great humans.  

We are inspired by the resilience and determination we see among our student athletes and by the great athletic directors and coaches who make a difference in the lives of our students. A school team can act as a family, a club, and a community. Being on a school team gives students a healthier lifestyle, a sense of belonging, a drive to succeed academically, and the opportunity to live a more fulfilled life.

Quitman School District offers a variety of athletic programs. Students are encouraged to participate in one or more of the following: Archery, Band, Baseball, Basketball, Cheer, ESports, Football, Powerlifting, ROTC, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Track, and Volleyball.
