QHS and the CCCTC hosted a Quitman Learning Communities (QLC) Lunch and Learn in the QHS library earlier this month. During this session, community leaders and local businesses learned about partnership opportunities that are available through Quitman School District and Jones College that will help to better prepare students for the highway of postsecondary success.  A second meeting was scheduled so parents could learn how QSD will use career pathways to prepare students for the highway of post secondary success for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond.  At the meeting, Jones College was present to talk about many college and career readiness opportunities for our 9-12 students.

A huge thank you to our student representatives, Quitman Learning Communities Teacher Leaders, & Jones College Partners for showing up and representing well at our Quitman Learning Community & Career Pathway Parent Night. We look forward to hosting this fun and informative event again to jumpstart our 2024-2025 year!
