May 14, 2024 was an exciting day for two Quitman High School Panther football players. Family, friends, and teammates celebrated with Damion Horne and Demondrae Stribling as they signed to play football at Belhaven University this fall. The Belhaven Blazers football program is the intercollegiate American football team for Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi. The team competes at the Division III level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association NCAA, and is a member of the USA South Athletic Conference.
