Assessment & Accountability

We realize the more the community and parents understand about our school, the more we can all work together to improve student performance. Assessments tell you about students’ progress on the path to future success, whether that’s the next grade or the next course. They measure what students know and can do based on learning goals for the grade or course. In Mississippi, the goal is for all students to be proficient and showing growth in all assessed areas. Data from these district and state assessments is used to determine progress toward meeting this goal.
