Federal Programs

Federal funds are used to supplement the educational services offered by school districts.  In the Quitman School District, Federal funds are used to increase and improve parental involvement, hire additional teachers, enhance technology, and to provide professional training opportunities for staff. Parents are welcome to visit the Parent Resource Center located at Quitman Upper Elementary. The center is open from 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM each school day and houses resources for parenting skills, learning disabilities, and various educational learning opportunities.
